August 27 - Vintage Base Ball, 12:00 & 2:30 p.m.
It's the last base ball matches of the season
and as we close out the season, we're doing something a little
different. We're partnering with the Chickamauga Battlefield to help
celebrate the 100th birthday of the National Park Service and we're
moving these last matches to the recreational field at the battlefield.
In addition to the matches, the Chickamauag Battlefield invites you to
bring a picnic lunch or purchase one from an onsite food vendor and
enjoy interacting with living historians, listening to Civil War era
music, and learning more about the park. There will also be activities
for the kids. Festivities start at 11:00 a.m. The first base ball match
starts at noon with Mountain City of Chattanooga plays the Highland Rim
Distillers. Then at 2:30 p.m. the Lightfoot Club of Chattanooga plays
Phoenix of East Nashville.
